LIS Research Support -University Library
LIS Research Support aims primarily at supporting the research process of researchers and research groups at Tilburg University. In addition, we offer services to support faculty and students.
Managing and publishing your research and data
- Publish and preserve your research in Pure, the university-wide system to record scientific publications.
- Tilburg University Research Portal provides information about Tilburg University research and access to publications.
- Take a look at the "Open" issues dealing with Open Access publishing, Open Science and Open Press TiU .
- We offer information and advice on Copyright.
- The Research Data Office advises about Research Data and Data management, i.e. storage of research data in Dataverse.
Our collections
- Our catalog (WorldCat Discovery) is filled with books and articles. If you are working from home, just use the Library Access extension (which is also useful on campus).
- Selection, acquisition, and providing access to scientific books, journals and scientific databases belong to our tasks.
- We have lots of journals too! You will find them all in the A-Z Journal List.
- And on top of that, we offer some 200 subject specific databases, a good starting point for professional information searching.
Need something we don't actually have?
- Use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) if you just want to use it yourself.
- Contact our subject librarians if you want to suggest a new title for our collection.
